Daniel is co-founder and the current President of the Czech Evaluation Society (https://czecheval.cz/en), chairman of the registered association Development Worldwide (engaged in development cooperation) and Director of AGSS, Ltd. (engaged in environment protection). Until 2023, he was a Coordinator of IDEAS – International Development Evaluation Association (https://ideasglobal.org/) and Coordinator of the International Evaluation Academy (https://ieac.global/). In 2009–2024, he was working as external monitor for the European LIFE programme (EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action). On behalf of the Czech Evaluation Society, he is a member of the Reference Group on Evaluations and member of the Council for Development Cooperation at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and mentor on evaluations at the Ministry of Health. He is also a lecturer of project management and evaluations at the Czech University of Life Sciences – Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences. Between 2007 and 2017 he coordinated the European Program for Development Evaluation Training (EPDET) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
